Grottoes has an extensive Parks Department. With two beautiful parks, Grottoes can offer various recreational opportunities.  Both John E. Painter Park and Grand Caverns Park offer shelters for picnicking, fishing, trails/hiking/biking, horseshoe pits, playground equipment, and various other amenities.

The parks open at dawn and close at dusk.

Contract Events
Either park may be reserved for large parties or business functions. All facilities can be reserved; however, the park will continue to remain open to the public.

Community Room
The Community Room at the Grottoes Town Hall may be rented for various events for the day for a fee of $100 plus a refundable deposit of $50.  Please fill out the Community Room Form
